Our goal and mission is working toward providing children with fully funded access to programs like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We also know that Mental Health and Counseling resources can be beneficial options for kids going through different challenges. We want to make sure every child has the opportunity to be a part of character building programs, that promote self defense, self confidence, and a pathway to a better future.

To promote better lifestyle choices and build pathways to a successful future where goals and aspirations can be met. We plan to place our focus within several different areas of need that our support and resources can be best utilized. We strive to provide underprivileged children and at-risk teens with helpful opportunities that might feel out of reach. Our program places on impact on their childhood experience, and their developing identities, to be a pivotal tool of enrichment in the lives of young kids and teens.

“It’s time you bit the bullet

and started caring about something

with all your heart and energy.”

WHY GENKAI IMPACT?

  • Many children deal with financial barriers that limit their opportunities. With Genkai Impact, we hope to remove those barriers buy providing funded training and free gear programs that can help children gain access to programs like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

  • With fewer opportunities and a lack of access to positive outlets or supportive programs, we want to help young kids to find the positive outlets and community spaces that can foster confidence and provide valuable life guidance. Creating a community where children feel welcomed and empowered to reach goals without the worry of financial hardship.

  • Navigating emotional and psychological challenges can be difficult. With Genkai Impact, we hope to provide the tools for support that can teach children how to face challenges head on, build resilience, learn self defense, and more!

  • As BJJ is a growing and expanding program for both children and adults, there is still limited awareness about the critical life skills and benefits that BJJ has to offer. Through our Genkai Impact program, we hope to provide the community with more education and a better understanding on how BJJ can benefit children through life and in the long run.
